Terms of use

Last updated: 1 November 2026.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of this website, a private, non-commercial website about the open-source project upstreamyard, operated by Benedikt Augenstein (see the imprint). By using the website, you accept these terms.

2. Content of this website

We prepare the content of this website with care and keep it up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, correct or current at all times. The content is general information and does not replace advice for your specific environment.

3. Open-source images and Helm charts

The container images, Helm charts, Dockerfiles and scripts linked from this website are open source. Our packaging is licensed under the Apache License 2.0; each packaged application remains under its own upstream license. Your use of them is governed by those licenses, which provide the software "as is", without warranties or conditions of any kind. These terms do not change those licenses.

You are responsible for evaluating whether an image or chart is suitable for your use, and for operating it securely.

4. Trademarks and affiliation

upstreamyard images and charts are community-maintained. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the upstream projects or their owners. All product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the software.

5. Links to other websites

This website contains links to websites of third parties, for example GitHub and Docker Hub. We have no influence on their content, and their operators are responsible for it. We checked linked pages for obvious legal violations when we added the link. If we become aware of illegal content on a linked page, we will remove the link.

6. Liability

This website is provided free of charge. We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever liability cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of this website or its content.

7. Changes

We may update these terms when the website changes. The version published on this page, with the date shown at the top, applies.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you use this website as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. If you act as a business, the courts of Málaga, Spain, have jurisdiction.
