The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as none is required.
2. Visiting this website
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub B.V. (Prins Bernhardplein 200, 1097 JB Amsterdam, Netherlands) and GitHub, Inc. (88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA).
When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that is required to deliver it, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses to keep the service secure and working. We do not receive these logs and cannot identify visitors.
- Legal basis: article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is delivering this website securely and reliably.
- Transfer outside the EU: GitHub may process this data in the USA. GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023) and also uses the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- More information: GitHub General Privacy Statement.
3. Cookies
This website does not use cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels or fingerprinting and no social media plugins, and it loads no fonts, scripts or images from other servers.
The only information stored on your device is one entry in your browser's local storage, so that the cookie notice is shown only on your first visit:
Name: upstreamyard-cookie-notice
Content: the date the notice was shown, nothing else
Purpose: not showing the cookie notice again
Storage period: until you clear your browser data
Shared with: no one; it never leaves your browser
This entry is strictly necessary to provide the notice as intended, so it does not require consent (article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings; the notice will then appear once more. The "Copy" buttons only write to your clipboard when you click them; nothing is saved.
If this ever changes, we will update this section first and ask for your consent wherever the law requires it.
4. Contacting us by email
If you email us, we process your email address, your name if you give it, the content of your message and any information you choose to include, such as details about your systems.
- Purpose: answering your message.
- Legal basis: article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us.
- Recipients: our email provider, which stores and delivers email for us as a processor under a data processing agreement: STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.
- Retention: we delete your message once your question is answered and no further contact is expected.
Please do not send passwords, access keys or other secrets by email.
5. Links to other websites
This website links to other websites, for example GitHub and Docker Hub. When you follow a link, the operator of that website is responsible for any processing there, under its own privacy policy.
